Fear Necklace is hand carved on wax and casted with the lost-wax or “cire-perdue”.

At this part of creation of our Perfectly Imperfect collection, we explored the fear we come across on the path to find ourselves.

What is fear? What are our fears made of?

Fear of our vulnerability, fear of the unknown and what we cannot control. Could look like a dark spot in our souls that the mind refers back to when situations become inconvenient.

We start from a point, a cell, a moment in the universe in order to become again a spot in the universe. We only have a moment in the grand scheme of time! This can be an overwhelming thought, as overwhelming is the size of our existence.

What matters though in our lives is this in between that we are all parts of. The memories, the experiences, the feelings. These form the existence that we can realize and experience together.

Fear is part of our existence but does not need to form it.

This is a reminder to let go…
